As always, I start with good morning. Good afternoon. Good evening. Because I never know in what time zone or at what time you may be listening to this webcast. We got a quick question for those of you in the Swell Family, what I'd like to know is anyone in the Swell family have to deal with loved one who struggles with depression. Depression?

I don't think it's up to you to sort of cheer them up or to really do anything other than just sit with them or just talk to them or even just be with them more often than not. Someone who's depressed isn't really looking for words of wisdom. It's more just or any sort of like verbal support

Maybe not to be pushy with what do you want them to do, but be there and take care of them and show them, like, appreciation and love and not try to convince them that they need to get out of that state. So I definitely think that and hopefully they will get out of that on their own and at their own pace. Bye

I believe that you're not blaming the person or obviously feeling bad towards them or judging them, I should say, but at the same time, it might help to reframe it just because it is such an invisible disease that it does seem like an emotional thing, but it's a mood disorder. It's so hard to describe the way it transcends emotions and it takes over the mind and is awful. And I'm really thankful

So I actually found it really helpful that my parents were willing to go to therapy with me, like in a family therapy setting. It helps me feel like I'm not alone in this and that they're willing to kind of try and understand what it feels like because for them growing up in a different generation, they didn't really talk about it
