"...dogs, cows, buffaloes and pigs attended the Bharat Jodo Yatra"—Rahul Gandhi's Viral Speech and the Sheer Irony of the Situation

article image placeholderUploaded by @Aishani
So basically he's being trolled for saying the following lines in his speech at the event that dogs, cows, buffaloes and pigs attended the Bharatjoro Yatra. So basically the context was he was trying to say how the Yatra is uniting people and or uniting every single Indian despite their religion or even here, basically even despite what species they belong to

Yeah. Aishani, thanks for making this post, and I think what you just said makes a lot of sense. I think the Congress is various they've got various agendas with this yatra, and I think time will tell if it kind of results in anything electorally for the party. I also think that a lot of speeches said by any politician, not just Mr. Gandhi. I think across the country there are a lot of inaccuracies and a lot of things that are misconstrued for sort of viral content

And I really think that the agendas that have been raised and the issues that has been talked about in the rallies are very important for the progress of a country. As a united nation, we need to work together, and I suppose that's what the Bharajoriyatra is all about. So thank you

And the thing here is if Rahul Gandhi crosses Delhi in this he might have a victory on it and as a target currently he has a target to reach Sri Nagar by 30 January on the Shahidi of Mahatma Gandhi. So here the opinion is 50 50 he might also win and he might also be defeated. It totally depends this will continuously go on in the political system

Hi there. I really like the insight on the Bharatjura vatsa and they can agree on your ideas. The parajoriyatra is opposingly very clever moment. While this hasn't sounded united the indians but in great other ways has given rise to other conspiracy theories against government or the opposing parties. But really glad that we are standing up for our country and talking about topics that truly matter. Thank you

But the e cell of the right wing party of our country is just behind making memes trolling the opposition, trolling the politician and this is not the first time it's happening. It's been happening from past many years. They are diverting the attention of the people from the actual development to Hindu Muslim like in the recent time. Every second one we see any other issue about Hindu Muslim all over the country

It's a fact of life. The other day I was having a discussion with a senior gentleman, and he says that, look, you cannot force someone into a profession, you know, you cannot make an elephant climb a tree or you cannot make a fish fly. So similarly, this whole politics has been thrust upon Mr Gandhi

But one of this is very strong that in this 21st century where people have a lot of problems, took it online, where they are doing it through the mediums or Twitter or they're doing it through the mediums which are there like in the public, we have governmental websites also and they are putting it out there

Maybe a snippet is taken up, and then there's this full blown debate on social media on it, and a whole trolling sesh, or whatever you can call it, well, after listening to your swell, I think it makes a lot of sense the way you explained it. And I was also going through an article regarding the same. So yeah, I think he definitely didn't mean it in a very literal sense and maybe that was what he was trying to say

I know it's a very weird term to use for a politics, but well, that's how I feel about it. He's more like whatever he's thinking, whatever his point of views are. He doesn't sugarcoat his words or he doesn't really care to sort of present them, maybe, in some other way. And to a great extent, I think that's why maybe he has this appeal amongst millennials, maybe

Hi ishaan whatever you said I think I would have to say any yes to that as well because as a youngster once again I would like to see definitely a united Bharat because that's the picture of India we have all I think grown up with and well at least the Yatra sounds good on on paper. I mean the idea sounds great now the execution and whether that is a success that only we can tell. Maybe a couple of months down the line or maybe as Karan mentioned, in the next elections

You look at somebody like Jay P Naddam makes all the right noises. Yogi Adinat, again, all the right noises. This is what I feel about Rahul Gandhi, that he seems to, more than anything else, lack the acumen. For a politician, you need to have a certain acumen. You need to have a certain aptitude to be a politics more than anything else. It's a job of convincing people. It's a job of telling a story

That's why he has been in the list of people being trolled for a long time now. And as we all know, key social media, there are people who sort of I mean there are trollers, literal trollers who are there for just this reason mostly. So they contribute towards this entire troll culture, cancer culture a lot as well. Upfitte that what happens to this campaign and whether it's a success or not. And yeah, thank you so much once again for your insights

Hello. Good morning. Aishani. I want to give my answer in Hindi because I think so many people relate with Hindi easily. Rahul Gandhi. Strong opposition. Strong opposition. Create BJP or Rahul Gandhi fails

Whereas earlier we could see in atulji's time evading Mudmohan Singh's time or earlier governments of Congress where they have appreciated each other congressman has appreciated appreciated Congress when Mohan Singh, many others. Now do we see that? Do we see mutual respect beyond the ideology difference? No. It's about power. That's why Raul Gandhi is becoming a laughing stock. Unfortunately, you need a leader. Whether anybody like it or doesn't like it with flaw. Modiji has the caliber of a leader
