Serious Enough

Serious enough. A day ago we were laughing at some stupid movie we'd seen more than a dozen times reciting lines like a mantra your part than mine falling to the floor as if fatally injured by the hilarity. You try on tragedy to call the comedy but that face never serious enough. My face hurts. I puffed. Please stop. A day ago six years and a day ago, we were laughing. I still love that stupid movie. This is dedicated to Paul

If you or someone you know it's contemplating suicide please call 988! It's Serious Enough

Some people, you know, and that person, they think that person is around their spirit or whatever is around every time the lights dim. But for me, you remember every time the lights come up a little bit, it just kind of reminds you that that person is still with you and inside you. They never die. You just shed the skin. It's cool. But on a serious note, suicide is serious and pointless, even if you're tired. I don't know

🙏🏽❤️ well written and spoken

Karen, I really want to say thank you for sharing this piece. It is it's poignant, it's heartfelt. But also the picture, I just believe, captures so much that we do not know about the relationship that you and paul have. But from what I can observe and see, that man had a lot of joy in that moment and being with you, and you as well. It seems like you both enjoyed each other's company quite well together. And that is what we need

It seemed like that's kind of where he was at. There's conversation that he must have had other things to do. I'm not sure, but he's still talking to me. What a guy. Thank you, Adam
