There is something that kind of stirred in me, that it's always been there, but it came a point in my life where it bubbled up to the surface, to a point where I had to face it. And I probably planned. This was in 2014. This seriousness of questioning gender began a couple of years later. Went to a therapist, took different antidepressants. I saw three different therapists, researched for two and a half solid years before I started taking hormone therapy

And it's such an amazing expression to become who you're supposed to be. It's like the ultimate expression, and you're living that ultimate expression. But I think to find words to share the joy. I'm glad you showed these pictures because they're just adorable and they're just so full of life. It's like a second chance to honor life in the most profoundly natural way. I wish everybody could have coffee with you and just hang out with you and talk with you

It was so hard, and I was so scared and so nervous. And even when I ultimately decided, okay, I need to start, I think hormone therapy is what's right for me. I sat on those pills for, I think, like, a month or a month and a half before I started because I was so nervous. And I don't know
