The understanding is to have the celebration of artistic merit in cinema which would come from any part of the world. And if that is the intent, which is a great intent, then the jury members viewing that have to be insufficient number who originate from different parts of the world. And so there has to be that necessary education that has to happen

If they just want to keep to their own movies, to the movies that are being produced in Hollywood, I mean, none can complain, right? Because that's what the Oscars were established for. That's why they came up with this award, to appreciate cinematography that's intrinsic to Hollywood. But if they want to appreciate movies from all over the world, they need to first get accustomed to the grammar

That should be recognized as well. But that alone should not be the case. And that's what's happening with compare. And therefore people then gravitate towards the Oscars, conducted in a very civilized manner, largely then there's no over the top kind of sequencing or the jokes aren't like on and on for the entire duration of the show. It kind of finishes in two and a half, 3 hours or three and a half hour stops, and there aren't any tomfoolery that is going on
