Manipur incident and state of women in conflict zones!

NGOs, self help groups, they are helping. Legal assistance is being offered. But are the women still safe in the conflict zone? That is one big question looming and lurking. Whether or not we like it, whether or not we accept it. It's very important for a woman to stand by a woman as well. And we have to cut down on the codependency issues

Its a sensitive and complex topic and let’s address this with respectability and share thoughts on the impact and way forward when it comes to the Q!

And I really feel so much for these women who went through that trauma and still going through it. And it takes a lot of deep, deep that wound and that healing that has to take place in them. And I feel that our country, each one of us also has to raise our voice and say that this can't happen here and this shouldn't happen here also. So this is our primary responsibility as a citizen of India, as a woman and as a person who feels for them

So educating not just ourselves but others also against violence of any nature, women especially as we are talking about it in conflict zone is super important. How we can equip them so they can be of help to others in their community, in their villages. And keeping in view we have to be mindful of our own biases because that is where we influence the understanding of the issue

And yes, I agree with you. Perhaps we collectively need to create more awareness and come together as women of India and try and help our tribe, wherever they are. Beat Manipur or beat any location in India

That was a post I have actually seen. So at that particular time I had a question in my mind, because when you talk about media, press news, they're the one who actually speak against the things that are happening. Their responsibility is to bring the things into a limelight, like whatever has happened, and let the people understand the importance of things, significance of things that happen everywhere

Hi Gauri. I so liked what you said that you know, it's right because you resonated with the fact that women need to stand by women. Women need to take that lead as well. But also, you know, what highlighted in your swell was that taking responsibility, that's very important. And it is like it's not always easy in the societal terms, it's not always easy, but it's always worth it
