Acceptance

article image placeholderUploaded by @ZLisbon
About that I have physical pain right now, and I have emotional pain. And if anyone has experience with learning how to accept and turn it over to God, let God take the wheel, so to speak. Freedom. Feel free to chat

Body image, acceptance, body pain, love, philosophy

@ZLisbon Some of the strategies I continue to use.

It didn't matter what I thought should be or expected grief to look like in my particular situation, etc, etc. I just had to let it be. If it came in tears, if it came in anger, if it came in whatever flavor, it was a part of the process

Hi Zara, thank you for your post. As it pertains to you feeling like a pinched nerve, my suggestion is actually see if you can find and a chiropractor near you. I experienced one. It was in the middle of the night one night last year in September. I woke up and it was like a sharp burning pain in my thigh and it really freaked me out. It woke me out of my sleep and I just couldn't get comfortable enough necessarily for a little bit

If that makes sense. Anyway, this is a thought. Man as far as the higher power, I go to church, actually go to a Methodist church. That my minister is a black woman. And not all churches are all the same. And I can tell you if you're looking to accept and trust into a higher power. The best way to learn how to accept that higher power is to seek it out

Just putting this message here to tag Zara. I think that's who you intended to reply to, Ryan. So I just wanted to tag her into the message
