I was absolutely captivated from the very start by, obviously, the Mexican history, but also by the sister's journey beyond their class differences and the cultural differences showing the European Mexican differences. But honestly, what I really enjoyed and loved the most about this book is the romance. It just was an absolute exceptional read. So I highly recommend this delightful read with romance and intrigue
