Delay Your Response

If you're in a bad mood and you respond immediately, you're likely to emotionally lash out with someone and do much more harm to a relationship than you'd like to. And that's not something that we want to do long term. So I like to take emotion out of the decision making. I like to delay my response and think things much more clearly. Thank you

And then also, yeah, both and then with being not so great mood and maybe have said something that I didn't want to say, or yeah, I think this is really good advice. So thank you so much for sharing this

You. Hi, Zach. Oh, my goodness. I love this idea around delaying your response. And I would say that because I am an introvert, I'm very connected to my being, if you will. And so it's not hard for me to delay my response. But I will say, on the flip side of that, sometimes I may either say no too quickly or say yes too quickly or delay my response as an excuse. Right
