My Critique Manifesto

When I'm asked to critique or beta read for my writer friends, I must add on that I usually receive fiction shots, so we are talking 5000 words or less, and this is more or less how I go about it. In my first reading of the piece, I skimmed through the draft, inserting comments and highlighting areas that either stand out or kind of fall flat or somewhat seem somewhat clunky to me
