Prashant Kishore rejects offer to join the Congress Party

So the last week here on Swell, we actually spoke with the spokesperson of India's largest political party, the Congress. I'm sorry, India's leading opposition party. And he came on record and told us that the party's in talks with Prashant Khashur, who is India's biggest political consultant. And it seemed like the Congress was about to get its act together after decades. And there was quite a bit of excitement in the news and broadly the Liberal public and intelligenceia

Hi, Karan. Thank you for sharing this development here on Swell. Definitely looks like a huge setback for the Congress at a time when I'm sure most of their senior leadership and also the youth Cardiff was looking forward to Prashant Kishor coming in and sort of reviving the party. A huge disappointment for many of them, perhaps

If he gets the right people to be able to in the right infrastructure, right party organization set up in each of these different States and the right leaders then I think he's in a very good position to bring them all together to form a third front and I think that third front is potentially going to be the best bet for the next election cycle.
