A lack of social cohesion had an impact on team members job satisfaction, lowering productivity. We invested in more time in team building activities with product off site activities like a monthly dinner for team members and family, which paid dividends and increased performance in immediate horizon. Excellent return on oral communications in English, in my opinion, is a prerequisite to lead global delivery team, along with good understanding of regional cultural modes and perspectives. Honesty and transparency are always viewed with high regard in all cultures
