Courtney LaPlante, lead vocalist of heavy metal band, Spiritbox
As a matter of fact, it's not very often that you come across a metal band with many female members at all. I could probably name ten bands off of the top of my head that have female members and have reached quite a large level of success. But compared to the male counterparts, there is absolutely no comparison

I totally missed that this had come out huge fan of Courtney metal band Spiritbox, and I would also recommend anybody who is interested in in hearing more from her. Check out her podcast Good For A Girl. That kind of talks about women in the metal scene and kind of the general community. Couple of things Taylor touched on so highly recommended
