What’s a Swell?

article image placeholderUploaded by @widow.me.this
Another way to say me too is me as well. Anyway, these are just some very random thoughts like most of mine are. And I just wanted to mention that and say that again. I'm happy to be in this new community, this new platform, and I'm enjoying listening to everybody's voices

I just wanted to also share that the founders as well, initially, were creating a health centered app so stories about our health. And that changed pretty quickly into a more expansive community. But the idea of swell, having the word well inside of it, like mental wellness, is just beautiful how much it worked for the health conversation and then how much it lended itself to what we're talking about now. And I also love the idea of how are you?

Lindsay, I think, ever explained it very well, but thank you very much for finding that. And that's actually something that we intended. We intended that by bringing people together, by speaking to one another, we all just become better, and we actually find common ground, and we actually come together. So it is to bring people together and make us well. And that was an intentional play on the phone word. So thank you. Bye

I really love to, like, overexamine and think about words as well. As well. And I also think, yeah, swell. You can't really say that word without ending up on kind of a semi smile. Swell. Yeah. It's a great word, especially for this platform

#hello : )

Hi, Lindsay. Well, I enjoy listening to your voice and your random thoughts and this minute and a half long stream of consciousness of yours. It was a lot of fun. And I, too am a lover of words. I was a journalist, like a million years ago. It feels like a lifetime ago. I was in the military and I was a writer as well as photo journalist

It's a beautiful chain, and it's saying, me too, but it's also saying, like, in addition. And I feel like each reply connects new items to the original, and it's a beautiful Daisy chain of voices and opinions and thoughts, and it's a little bit more organic. Like the swell of a wave, maybe, but, yeah. Thank you so much for sharing that thought

Hey, Ran, just a note about WordPress. I I love that you connected the two cultures. I also was on WordPress, and there was a nice connection. We were supporting each other. It was so new. And what's so funny about Swell and and these threads of conversation? I feel like we're going back to those telephone chains, rose mentioning a Daisy chain, but to the point of, like, the organicness of this

Hey, Deborah, it's party line, right? Telephone party lines. Anyway. Yes, I love that. And as Rose said, the Daisy chain. That was really sweet to me. A really sweet imagery to me. So this is good. Keep the conversation going, ladies and gentlemen. Thank you. Bye
