Dungeons and Dragons

Something I haven't seen talked about on here at all. In the little bit of time I've been looking is Dungeons and Dragons, and I think it's an interesting topic that has a lot of merit to it in the form of generating in conversation I. Dm. For a group of my friends, it's me. Two of my friends in the same grade

#dnd What are some stories from your campaigns? How do you deal with dming for a group of people that have very different ideas of what's fun?

But my brother had this exact same experience a lot, and he found that it didn't really click until he started getting a little bit older and started just finding people that were more in agreement with him over what it is they were doing when they crafted these campaigns. There was a lot of trial and error, a lot of groups that didn't work, a lot of members that didn't work

As I actually set about creating the adventures, I would just repurpose some either older adventures I had run or just quick little seeds of adventure ideas, but I would Bolt in elements of the characters backstories to just make them essentially Mad lived for those PCs. And as the campaign unfolded, I could just keep referring back to that same stuff. I'll give you an example. One of the characters in this campaign was a Druid

So Sarlax, you mentioned, you know, asking people for character back stories. And I've absolutely done that. Each of the main things they've done so far revolve around one of the PCs. The last main adventure was Focus on the Barbarian. His wife had been missing for a long time, and they recently went to find her. So they have an NPC drew it in their party
