Whats your Favorite Martin Episode???

article image placeholderUploaded by @wayuphigh
And Martin is, like, he's a storyteller comic, but he's also, like, a physical comic. Like, he does a lot of voice inflections he does a lot of movement. He played a lot of different characters on the show. And, like, some of his catchphrases, she was using. And it was so funny to me because she's in this pink dress for this art of it, but she's acting manly

And when he gets there, they have this fake a** rottweiler. They didn't get him a real dog. And then on top of that, the dog kept falling over. So that's why you see him dragging the dog around. So it's like a lot of the stuff that they did. What I enjoy about the show the most is that they didn't know what Martin was going to do. And it just kind of happened even on down to the characters

I don't like it as much now as I did when I was younger. It's funny still. It's not that it's lost his humor. But now that I'm into, like, shows with great story and characters and plot martin was not that show. He had no real plot. I thought it was really cheesy that he was, like, a radio host and then he went to a talk show host. I don't know

I also knew the back story about the new Jackson episode. They actually recently talked about it when they did their reunion episode on HBO Max maybe earlier in the fall and they were talking about how they were supposed to have a real dog and they gave him a fake dog and he was like when it fell over he was just like now sit. And it was just like so ridiculous

But this one, this last season in particular that they're in right now is a lot of interesting content in that and there's a lot more deep issues. It's not focused around just corny, cheesy, one line punchline jokes. It's a little bit more smart stuff. And I think a lot of shows are like that. What's another one that I can think of that's more smart? That's a black show. You know what?

I'm pretty sure if you see clips of them online, but yeah, Vernell Hill. Funny, timeless stuff. Yeah. Tommy Davidson, one of those unspoken heroes of comedy. I just recently watched Strictly Business with him and Hallie Berry. That's an iconic film. Woo. Did we talk about Woo before? I don't remember. I think we kind of did. I'm not really sure. But you know, I've never really watched that

And then the other part is where and I didn't watch now, that one I watched at the time, and I was a kid watching that one, but the other one, A Different World, was a little bit not before my time, but I was much younger when it was airing. So I rewatched those episodes maybe as a teenager when they came on and when Dwayne. Wayne came to the wedding with Whitley and just like screaming her name
