Bad TV Adaptations of Books!

article image placeholderUploaded by @vi.raghu
And so just having them start off in the movies as them already being old enough makes it like a disconnect from who they are in the books versus who they are in the movies. And then secondly in the second movie, The Sea of Monsters, it's just so many things were just not how they were in the books. They changed so many parts of the plot. They definitely didn't follow the book to the t. They just went off in their own little direction

But I noticed that trend was a lot of series like that where the last movie, they deviate a lot from the books themselves because they want to change the ending and they want to make it a little bit different. So it ends up just kind of not being the greatest. So I think with book series that turn into movies, it's just, like, difficult because everybody imagines the series differently and then the film producers and movie makers want to make it their own too

I don't really think they did a great job of portraying the book, but I still thought it was a really good movie, but just not in the sense of it coming from a book. So, yeah, I don't know if that's kind of the same since it's not a TV show, but kind of what I thought of
