The Wisdom of Trauma

article image placeholderThe Wisdom of Trauma
So yesterday I watched this new movie. It's called The Wisdom of Trauma, and it features Dr. Gabor Mate. He is a medical doctor and specialized and is doing some great work, and it was such a beautiful movie. His presence is just so calm and caring for people that he works with. And trauma is all around us. And what I really like I'm learning a lot about traumainformed approaches in schools, but also in the world, like in hospitals and all around us

Trauma, trauma informed, gabor mate, movie

Dear, thank you so much for the push on this film. And I just did some research, and I'm gonna paste the URL to the event, the premiere. I just think it's so wonderful when someone nails this conversation where it's not as dramatic an approach where people because the word trauma is so big. And here we have a lot of connection to trauma in terms of, like, childhood stuff or PTSD. But I think the smaller traumas are also really interesting to acknowledge

And as a school counselor, I'm really looking at how we can support children with trauma, even when we are not aware that they may have experienced trauma. But it's an approach that supports everyone because it always looks at what's happening or what's happened to you. And it really looks at the person which I love. So yeah. Thanks for sharing that. I and I hope it's okay that I follow you on here on swell. All right. Thank you, Vera. Bye
