And I am all about teaching myself and understanding that, hey, if I was taught not some parts of the culture incorrectly and they were not taken as seriously as it should have been, then I want to recognize that and I want to shift it. So I just want to read a couple pieces of this book in just the beginning, parts that really stood out to me. So in the very, very beginning, on page three, it says, what is yoga at its root?

I don't know if she would have gone had it not been Mother's Day, but I think she'll go in the future, which is kind of giving me signs that it's paying off for them. And when you talk about it as a community, I do agree that we need to be doing it more as a community and using it as a mechanism for social justice. We have events here in the summer that kind of work toward doing that

Lastly, just taking note and understanding and seeing all the yoga studios that are offering that fitness style of yoga. Susana is really expressing a lot of her feelings towards how yoga has shifted into trying to become fitness. And she very strongly says yoga is not fitness. So it's very interesting because I even took a certification called Yoga Shred, which is really awesome. But it is making yoga into fitness, which Susanna is trying to share, is just not the way that you do
