On its face, this seems like a weird thing for a capitalist to be talking about or relating to the idea of not putting oneself first. It's such a common trope, right, that we hear about capitalism strictly being this rugged individualism in which there is a refusal to ask for help. There is this vision of someone living in the woods by themselves, perhaps with a beard and an axe and rather gruff around the edges, right?
