And what we can see from all of these great thinkers, from drastically different backgrounds, whose wisdom spans incredibly diverse world views, is the same thing we see in this chapter of the Tao Te Ching seek balance. Everything in moderation, in leadership, specifically, the measured application of power comes with a responsibility to find balance, to avoid these extremes. And we can choose awareness of ourselves, we can seek greater presence and understanding. The previous chapter talked about seeking inner truth rather than focusing on outward experience
