Nonexistence. The Tao seems nonexistent, but it is the basis of existence. The universe, the Earth and everything in it comes from existence. But existence comes from nonexistence. Chapter 40 of the Tao Te Ching is sure. I've been filling these five minutes in the last several here, and this is another instance where the chapters attempt to put the reader on their on their heels
