Tao Te Ching 51 - Profound Virtue

article image placeholderUploaded by @ValuableActs
Capitalism, the free exchange of value where the proper role of government is to protect individual rights, doesn't mandate action. It's consistent with this reality. It doesn't mandate action and allows everything to be done which is very, very close to what has been said in the Tao Tei Ching before. Remember back chapter 48 they will do nothing and yet nothing will be left undone. Free trade, the free exchange of value is an expression of the Tao

"For why declare that things shall not be done which there is now power to do?" -Hamilton, Federalist 84
