Myth 2: I don’t have time. I’m not ready.

And I then saw on my Facebook that somebody had Ted or TEDx in their title. So I reached out to Karina and I said, hey, Karina, how do people become TEDx speakers? I was hoping that she would tell me what you needed to become a TEDx speaker. And I could then go through a checklist and get myself ready. And already in my mind, I was thinking, I'll get myself ready for next year. And she said, oh, what's your idea?

And so there's no use in procrastinating when I can just do it, get it over with, in a sense. But really, it's like as soon as I step up on the stage, I know that all of my anxiety and nerves around it will fade pretty quickly, and I'll be able to focus on, okay, I'm here now. Ready

That's highly interesting. You're right to touch upon the Ted Talk thing. And like, just to kind of boot around this pandemic pandering kind of license. I feel the same way because I learned that I have a voice, but I didn't know I was ready to be ready, but I learned that I guess your voice and our voices and everybody's voice, like a great voice and a great way of interpreting things. Yeah. We should definitely share that gift. Absolutely

Not ready? I don't have time? But I'm ready? And I have time? Time tells when someone is ready? Sometimes I don't have time and I have to make time. Why does daylight save time? Well, for someone else to answer? But yet it's crazy finding out, like, I'm not ready or like, oh, I'm kind of cherish, I'm Super ready. I just need to know that I know that I know that I'm ready
