Regain Hearing

article image placeholderUploaded by @Urbanlegends
Well, unlike certain species of fish or birds or reptiles, humans do not have the ability to regenerate those hair cells, which are like a biological microphone responsible for passing sound signals from the inner ear to the brain. In an earlier study in mice, Chen's team was able to make other types of cells divide and develop the characteristics of the hair cells. This latest research builds on the success by activating these same pathways within the use of the newly developed chemical compounds

And I feel so badly because hearing loss is is a pathway to isolation. So I'm very happy to hear that they're really, really focusing on what to do. Thank you for this. And I know that there's different stages for people in hearing loss and having loss and being born with situations versus losing it over time. So it's just good to know that there's studies across the board, and I always enjoy your amazing, ah, insights. So thank you so much

Yes, I enjoyed this as well. It's very meaningful because once you have tinnitus and you start down that road to feel hopeless and to read only negative things is what happens. They keep talking about how dementia, this, that brain function decline. So to hear something positive is just amazing. Thank you. Thank you
