Well, there's other people where I have some childhood trauma where if now as an adult, I see an adult tickling a child but I don't understand their intentions or the relationship or anything. I'm just an outsider of this scenario. I actually get triggered because growing up I had a family member who had selfish intentions regarding sexual gratification with me as a child for something that comes across as really innocent, lost my words

Yeah, this is a good reminder and just something to be aware of that, like, we can never really shield ourselves from the triggers that exist in the world. Like we can create spaces for ourselves, of course, where we limit our exposure to the triggers that we know. But like that image that you're describing, sometimes it's inevitable. Sometimes you exist in the world and something is going to hit that wound of yours, hit that bruise and it's going to hurt a little
