Welcome to the Podcasters forum here on Swell. We set this up so that podcasters can connect here and share best practices, share information about new innovations, ideas about audience development, news about upcoming events that affect us. So it's going to be really nice to have all of us convenient here with our voices, those instruments that we use all the time. And while you're listening to this, it would be great for you to say Hi, let us know that you're here

A place to talk shop

Well, I've been waiting for this to happen. It's Adam Paul. I am professor at UNLV, where I teach a podcast class, and we produce a fiction podcast. I'll just pitch it here. Please go ahead and listen to Pod 115 at Pod 115. Com. But I am very interested in how Swell is working for podcasters

And it's about me asking harder questions in life and trying to provoke other people, maybe to think outside of the box as well and asking things that you don't hear in everyday conversation. So I'm really excited about it. And I'm looking forward to taking some trips and maybe even doing a couple of retreats. So any advice or thoughts or suggestions would be very welcome. And again, thank you so much for providing the space for us to come together and share thoughts

And I think in the realm of the door, your focus is on not getting reactiveness, but getting deeply thoughtful, probing responses. So I'm really excited to see what you do here on Swell and how that translates to your podcast. So welcome

I'd love to say I'm spontaneous, but I deleted five recordings leading up to this because I wasn't aware of how many times I used the word in between phrases. So if anything, I think this venue is a great place for people who eventually need to start a podcast to learn what their voice sounds like, what their vocal ticks might be, what other problems other people are facing in terms of remote interviews or music acquisition, things like that

Hi John. I just was listening to you talking about how many times you found yourself saying, oh my goodness, that is a pet peeve of my hearing as I speak. So hopefully I didn't say any unintentional arms, but that is a thought. Thanks for sharing

Hey Deborah, this is David Temple and what a fantastic idea. I just ran across this app in an email I received from somewhere and immediately jumped on board because I'm always looking forward greatly to and build community with other podcasters. I host a podcast called The Thriller Zone. You can find it on The Thriller Zone.com and on all podcast channels. Basically, I interview the best thriller writers in the world today as well as talk to thriller actors, producers, directors. Anything to do with thrilling

So your cast could be filled with all that stuff, too. Great to have you here. I'm going to go ahead and tune into your work and become an instant fan, I'm sure. So thanks for sharing your ideas and your energy here. And it's really great to have your voice. Thanks. Bye

They will, but I'll leave it to your sound judgment to figure that out, to give it a listen. Bustock is about your life at work. It talks about your everyday jobs, corporate myths, myth busting exercises, career insights and all the stuff that you probably wanted to ask at work, but could never do that. So don't take it as a typical tech talk or a management big talk. And it's not like that. It's more to do with simplifying what is complex

I am. Welcome to Swell. Your podcast sound amazing, and I love how experienced you are as a podcaster because the transition people are making to socializing what they've been doing for so long into a platform like this is interesting to see what evolves in terms of the depth of content that can be moved back into your podcast so that you connect here

Hey, guys. This is Greg Kitsla from the Crib podcast. New to swell. And my podcast is actually relatively new. It's big. As of December 31, it will be one year. And I just hit it past my 100 subs mark, which I'm extremely happy and excited

Hey, Greg. Glad you're here. The intro alone of your podcast is so engaging and wonderful. By the way, I wanted to pop in here to say that, and I've been enjoying you in other conversations here and just happy your energy is here and and you just have such a unique, buoyant, energetic way of engaging with your guests and just so deeply emotive. It's just lovely. So thank you for spending time here

Hey, thanks Deborah. I really appreciate that. So far I put up, put on, I think two, two little mini podcast that's putting in a subject and got a good response from some somebody that actually made me think. And so we even swelled, I guess you'd call that we swelled. We had a conversation basically about what I mentioned
