Why Brené Brown? What does her work really mean to you?

article image placeholderUploaded by @DBPardes
I wanted to ask this whole community and people I've invited to this conversation who love Brene Brown to talk about why Brene Brown, why now? Why then? Why does Brene Brown resonate with you and really understand the combination of ingredients that really makes up this experience of her work and as personal as you can get is best? Because I think we all have really different takes on why we read certain things and they really inspire us and they stick with us and they become sticky on our mirrors

At #SXSW it was standing room only. Why? #brenebrown

And so much of her work, I think, has been validating of my personal experience and has also made me feel more empowered to trust that experience, to continue working on communication skills to foster more meaningful connections and relationships in my life. And that can be life changing. I actually just finished reading Atlas of the Heart this morning and I immediately texted several of my friends who either already have kids or are pregnant or are considering having kids
