As an alumnus of IIM, Ahmeda Baad with a be in computer science from BJTI Mumbai, double spent the early part of his career in the corporate world working for Atkyone and City Corp. It was during this time that he was also volunteering with Give India for about 15 to 20 hours every week and eventually joined them full time. This marked the beginning of his amazing journey with philanthropy that continues to grow with more innovative solutions for NGOs

So that's where we thought that we want to provide access to this very important utility of a payment gateway to NGOs and at the same time make giving and make the entire experience so easy for a donor to donate that they don't have, so that it becomes a habit and they would like to keep donating. So that's where we thought of having a payment solutions platform

The fifth is communication. We provide NGOs with a way to communicate with their donors using an email marketing platform which is completely integrated with our platform and allows donor information to be updated on a real time basis. In addition, we also run engagement campaign for donors on behalf of the NGO, on their behalf to donors, and we have found that donors have donated 10% more to these NGOs as a result of these campaigns

The value of digital payments in India will grow threefold to touch $1 trillion by financial year 2026, compared to $300 billion in the year 2021, according to a report by C. LSA. So I agree. I think the twin offering of convenience and credibility must be going a long way in establishing trust and paving the way for an increase in giving. What has been your most cherished success story so far with Nana Mojo?

This is just one of many success stories that we have had through our platform. Another one that I would like to highlight are a few large organizations who were not able to process international donations, who are not able to process recurring donations seamlessly. And we've given them this platform to be able to do that in a seamless manner. And they've now started raising large amounts of money every year through our platform

Wow, that's phenomenal. It's wonderful to see that Udani Mojo is enabling this kind of a leap in terms of the Giving Index. Which brings me to my next question. India has stood among the top 20 generous countries according to the CAS World Giving Index 2021, with 61% more Indians choosing to contribute during the Pandemic. Did you see a corresponding rising Giving Index on the platform during the Pandemic as well?

Now, that was the best part of what we saw through the last studios of the Panama NGOs who are able to take these one time donors, engage with them, and make them repeat donors to their cause, raise a lot more money than others, and saw the benefit of individual donors donating to their cause

Double. Thank you for sharing these insights. This is very heartening to know. And you know when you hear of these real life stories, right, like you have been on the ground and you are are aware there is so much of hope, right, that even from the pandemic there are so many positive outcomes that have come to the fore. I'll come to my last question. What is your vision for Dana mojo going forward? How do you plan to motivate more and more intense to give?

@Wordsmith

So, first and foremost, that is the thing, because unless NGOs have a way of accepting donations online, we will not make it easier for our donors, and thus we will not be able to increase giving or inculcate and giving habits. The second level is we are looking to involve giving in every facet of our online experience, in everywhere where people are actually transacting. We want to involve giving. We want to provide giving as a category in multiple payment apps

Thank you so much, Dhaval, for taking the time and wishing you and the team at Udani Mojo all the very best. And I hope India figures in the top three, you know, amongst the rising giving index in the world. And Udani Mojo has a huge role to play in that in times to come. Thank you
