Content creation blues

article image placeholderUploaded by @Binati_Sheth
Sheth has figured out how to live stream the live audio on video. It's incredible. Join us if you want and I will be, as always summarizing the key discussion points in another square cast as a response to this very sweet cast. If you have any questions, feel free to drop them. If the questions come in before 1830, I can address them live. If they come after 830, I'll address them later. Yeah, bye. See you there hopefully. Bye

Listen to the playback or join us live, 8:30pm ist: https://bit.ly/3MvNa8L #create #sayitonswell #WritingAndBeyond

Hey, Binati, this sounds extremely interesting. I love the idea, I love the premise. So let me see if I can make it to the session. And thank you so much for posting it here and letting us know that something like this is on. So, yeah, see you there. Bye

Creator Blocks

Try to exchange ideas or react to other people rather than focus on creating and try to put yourself in a different headspace and try to kickstart your subconscious. And hopefully you are going to get over your block. If not, have a change in scenery, have a change in whatever it is that you are doing right now. Say you are writing book on Penguins, start a book on plants. Right. So that's how you could deal with it

Motivation

But basically what this quote says is creativity strikes me every day at 09:00 in the morning. See what I mean? Discipline. The answer to this is discipline. Be disciplined enough to do something consistently every single day. And it doesn't have to be path breaking, record breaking work. It can be normal work. Right. So creativity should not rely on motivation because motivation is feeling and feelings will betray you someday. Right. So rely on discipline instead

On writing great newsletters

This is courtesy of KAMALIKA and Lachelle, who was one of the participants of the life who came on stage and absolutely gave great advice on writing newsletters. So KAMALIKA LinkedIn creator, and she writes in the fintech space and she is seen as a category expert by many because her content really is that good. It is very data driven and very fact driven. @Ramya

Hey, Dame, I hope you are able to make it. I I couldn't see the participants in the video life. I could see the audio once. I apologize if I didn't call you out, but I have light sensitivity. Okay. And I had a ring light pointed to my my face. I was like a blind bat. I couldn't see anything. So I'm so sorry if I missed you

So it makes a lot of sense when one is consistent in one's efforts towards making sure that there are great ideas that come from time to time, even if they're not great, there is a steady stream of ideas. And this is a huge takeaway for me. This is remarkable. And I think we all do face those blocks. And I have faced it time and again. And it's very interesting to me that you spoke about discipline

But then the mere fact that you're using your body for doing something right, just like that, if you're using our mind to do something as well, I think that would be amazing. Also, one of my favorite people on LinkedIn, and he commented during the life that says your son, he said that exchange rather than create, which is I found to be a very fascinating point. And there a platform like square could be beneficial because we're basically seeing exchange happen. Right
