Meditation gives you a perspective, a positive outlook towards thing or life in general. Most of the people nowadays try to control or stop their thoughts while meditating. This is not the right way to do it. Our job is not to stop the thoughts coming in the chaotic mind. Just be aware of the thoughts, acknowledge them and then try again and again to keep coming back to the breath
