a Shamans Shadow: "Old Smelly Box"

article image placeholderUploaded by @The3rdOWL
For slaves, we're referring to the American system, a system of slavery and exploitation. We're expected to give our best while we're given more work, more money, more bills, more debt, and no self sufficient way to live. The anger in me feels like the force of a mega tsunami, an after effect of much larger point of impact. We're angry because we didn't want to choose this for ourselves. Our choices were made by others who believe they must govern us

"We were thrown into an old smelly box: a system of control, built by slaves for slaves."

You made me just think about Nelson Mandela with the regard to defining what prison is and what freedom is and where he spoke in his book about a walk to freedom, when he discusses the limitless of his brain and his imagination and his connection, umbuntu, to the world around him. And I think that the concept of constraint will always be in our world at a certain plane

"A Prison in our Mind" Nelson Mandela reference. 🧘🏽‍♂️❤️🙏🏽💯🤔@DBPardes

We create this form of reality that has limitations and boundaries. And the only thing that really ultimately holds those boundaries to be true in our mind, thus creating this invisible cell, this fear, and the part of us, the shadow Christopher, is where we embody so much of our fear end up there. Such a dense thing, a graveyard of dense things inside of us that just accumulates over time. So thank you so much for even articulating
