Writing and Beyond: How to sell your books well - A live

article image placeholderUploaded by @Binati_Sheth
You've written your book. After a lot of hardship, you have somehow found a publisher who has helped you edit your book, and now your book is finally ready d for publication. However, this is where you hit your blog, because now you have to sell your book. And a lot of authors and writers are afraid of this because marketing and selling stuff gets a bad reputation. We see it and assume it to be something that it is not

If people understood that marketing is just about conveying your value proposition to people, there's nothing more to it, there's nothing less. It's just about conveying your value proposition to people. Why should I be interested in whatever you're saying? Then perhaps they would not consider it a bad thing. When you look at sales or marketing superficially, you don't understand that it's about conveying your value proposition. People think of sales as people do think of sales as a cheap thing to do

@avichand

Say, for example, a book I bought recently, building the Second Brain by Table Phone. I bought it because it's like Second Brain. Wow. If one brain can do this, just imagine what a second brain could chand. I think that's where we can be creative as well as commercial. Anavintor has this quote that I absolutely love, which is creative and commercial can exist in the same statement. I think that is it a good marketing sales strategy

But, as you rightly said, simplify the core ideas. In fact, I love a quote from Jack Kerwac, and the quote is, someday I'll find the right words, and they will be simple. So all writers, I think, understand the beauty of simplicity and making a good point. All writers want to make a good point. I think all writers start with the desire to make a point
