Are we addresing the inherent problems of the Commonwealth Games?

I was wondering what you thought about this, because this is a question which keeps coming back time and time again anytime there is a tournament which has the name Commonwealth or has the legacy of imperialism attached to it. So what do you think? Do you think success matters more than history? Or do you think that it's really problematic for the team to continue celebrating this and we should do a way with the Commonwealth?

I must say, I like this question a lot. Ireland is a former colony of Britain, and the question, which I suppose is terribly relevant now, Ireland is left to come with quite a long time ago, and I couldn't even tell you whether any Irish sports people have competed in the Commonwealth Games, because I don't follow it
