Birthdays.

article image placeholderUploaded by @filmfaerie
I was going to say that when I was younger, for birthdays, I used to yell to the world an ode to whatever landmark year that it was. But since this isn't a landmark year, I haven't done an ode in a very long time, such as life, I guess I'm still glad that the world is out there and things are still happening. So, birthdays. One particular memory that I had was my 25th birthday. I was really excited

Hey, Therese. Yeah, birthdays are awesome because the alternative is so horrible, we just stopped to exist, and that's bad. So basically of gratitude for living another year. I'm older than you, and I have more birthdays to recount. The best one, I think, oh, my God. I landed in Kenya, and I've been seeing this beautiful person for about a year at that point, and she greeted me because she was on travel there

I relate so much to so much of this. It's not my birthdays today, but birthdays are hard. Birthdays are really hard. My birthday birthdays is January 1. Most people are hungover on my actual birthday or have plans with their families on my actual birthday. And so I've never really got ten to celebrate the way I want to, which is on my birthday

A birthday poem by a boomer. Roses are red, violets are blue. Your birthdays was yesterday. Uhoh, happy Belated birthday and give yourself a break. Depression is not a joke. And sleeping is good, but sunshine is sleeping better. Happy belated birthday, sweetie

@AbsolutePhenom

Hi, Phenom. Thank you so much for such a kind birthday wish. Sometimes I think in the midst of stress and getting older and just the state of the world right now, you have this need to be reminded that you just breathe for a second. I needed to breathe. So thank you again

Oh, DB. I am so envious. Kenya, that has got to have been the best adventure ever. Even magnified on a birthdays. You know, when I was a kid, my dad always used to make birthdays kind of a big deal. Like the lone dad day, that was yours. It was special. So I think that's where that lingering kind of feeling came from. But thank you so much for sharing such an excellent memory

@ZLisbon

Hi, Z. Oh, I totally have no idea what that's like, but I could imagine that day being, like, one of the worst to have something associated with. I mean, you did bring up some good points. Like, at least you, you know, there's always a party, but at the same time, you kind of want it to be more about you
