Cool Down on Hot Days

article image placeholderUploaded by @ZLisbon
Something a dog trainer once told me was to take your dogs to a pet store and literally just walk them up and down the aisles in the air conditioning and have them sniff around and get excited about stuff and maybe buy them some kind of trade to make your presence at the store worth it. But you don't even have to. They don't mind. You kind of just like, taking care of your password anyway, so that kind of thing

But I definitely hope that in terms of the weather, that it cools off in the daytime soon. And I hope that you're and your family and your pets that you know, that you're well amidst all of that all of that heat and everything like that. And I hope this helps

And so I needed a dog that did not require a lot. So we take him out max three times during the day. Four is like a luxurious day, but he's not too fond of the heat. So what I found during the height of our summer, we're starting to wind down and get into fall is that it works best for me to take him outside around 06:30 a.m., to get his walk in, and then he had a midday walk and then like, an evening walk

Hey, I'm replying to the wrong person, man, sometimes I suck at technology. Hey, Zara, I'll try and tag you in this as swell. It is your post after all. This is Georgie D from Australia. I had to do a Google search. Search for what? That Fahrenheit degrees is in Celsius, because in Australia, we go by Celsius. My favorite temperature is about 98 degrees Fahrenheit

@GeorgieDee #coldshowers

I turn it to warm first just for that first five to 10 seconds that I jump in, and then I immediately push it down to cold. It's just better for me right now, but yeah, when it was dead in the heat of summer, absolutely, I was jumping in that bad boy cold. But my body, my skin, my circulatory system crave. It the cold shower

And it took me a while to get back to cold showers again because it's winter now. But yeah, I think I've been doing the thing that you do, like in winter, where it's warm first and then cold afterwards. I did that for about a year, and then I managed to switch to just getting straight into a cold shower and kept it up during the winter until I got covered
