Before the bell rings

Hello, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to another episode of Rest Easy. I'm Taron Sway, so obviously there needs to be a better system in place for reporting all of these issues at the nursing home levels. Medicare and Medicaid have been too relaxed on their demands for accuracy and therefore have become part of the problem. Now, I don't know about you, but each year my Medicare cost has gone up and my coverage has diminished

The bones of it are good. The residents have good and bad things to say, and time is of the essence, and budget is a concern. And they're saying, you know what? I think this is the best place for me. It's got pros and cons, but there are more pros that outweigh the cons. When you have some things that are disturbing to you

Thank you so much for your kind words. I would start with keeping a close relationship with the Ombudsman and making sure that they have a feel for your presence. So if you're not able to make constant contact with your loved one who happens to be in the nursing home, it's always wise to have that extra wire where when you get a hold of them, they know it's you and they know what you're going to be talking about

Terrence absolutely. Abso Terrence absolutely. Thank you for your clear response. It's R I really value your can do strategic tactical response here. You know, I think staying in the game, staying present, staying in the conversation with people is first and foremost so that you not only become a squeaky wheel, you could become an ally as well. I feel like if people are being barked at, they don't react. That's going to be productive
