A woman’s journey

But I think that one of the things that comes with this title is a sense of freedom. Freedom to actually be who I am and who I want to be. Not to be under someone else's thumb. Their expectations, which in our society are completely unreasonable in so many instances. Being a woman is very difficult in this day and age, as it has been for hundreds of years. This is not new. The struggles that women have faced over the years, they're not new

In this episode, i would like to start a conversation around working moms. Particularly those who do not have a partner.

Having the ability to identify your worth at any age comes from sort of an opening when you're hearing yourself and not reacting so much to other people, but you're hearing your truth, you're feeling your truth, and you're in that space. You're like, wow, this is a real lesson for me to know that I actually stand on my own 2ft and I'm my own person

So I think that's really a fascinating situation because I haven't lived my life the way everybody else has, and maybe that's why they feel like I have a balanced opinion. I have lots of experience, so maybe that's also another factor. So what I find with young women nowadays, I know quite a few of them that are heading down the road of marriage and children

I've been through two failed marriages, all based on what society, family wanted me to choose. I am now going to discover who the f*** is JL? What does she want? Who does she want? Why does she want it? Doing that hard inner work. And like you said, it is so freeing. It is so liberal rating

I'm so new to this, trying to navigate all of this and hearing the women who responded to these multiple posts like this sacred circle of women has this knowledge that they've gained over generations and generations from women past, and they're passing it on, and I am the very lucky recipient. It feels like these are directed right at me. I'm sorry. It gets me a little emotional. Anyway, thank you for posting this and thank you to the women. Hoovers responded

Betty on a wire. I've heard you speak before, and I love the sound of your voice and the things that you say. And I'm super glad that you feel like you've been welcomed into a sacred circle. What an amazing experience you're having in an audio app. And yes, welcome. Oh, my goodness, what a journey you're on that takes guts and confidence and self control. Self confidence to know oneself
