And my view is there is climate change because I grew up here in Washington State. And I can tell you I've never seen extreme weather in the state as much as I have in the last I don't know how many years. Last June, we had about three days of it being above 100 degrees. This June, it's been just the opposite. It was raining. The temperatures have been cooler. Our summer is much cooler than it was last year
In fact, it's really detrimental because you have the remaining lithium and the wasted batteries being held. Where and what are we doing to prevent them from leaching into the water or the soil and further contaminating the soil, which is further leading to the eradication of agriculture. We're definitely on the nice edge, in my opinion, of what to do. What to do. There's a solution, I feel. And I feel that that is based in hydrogen powered cars

My wife and I took a cruise up to Alaska and we saw glaciers that should have had ice on them, the walls of ice and stuff like that, that should have had those. And this is when I got concerned, when I actually saw those glaciers and those places that we went, there were those little places where the mountains were and all. They were supposed to be snowcapped and stuff, but they weren't. They were bare. And that got me really concerned

And I think the difference becomes again, this is just my opinion, but ethical education, like, how can we educate ourselves on the natural cycles? Maybe they're somewhere between, like your family member who says that it's 100% the Earth doing its thing. Swell. Can we also consider that maybe the humans are interacting? Can we find solutions? Like I mentioned, hydrogen ran cars that have a small environmental impact

And I try to do my best, but it's hard. And now I'm rambling because I lost my train of thought. So sorry about that. Anyway, hydrogen, I don't know if you've been east of the mountains over here, but they have those little turbine windmill things that turn and they're generating power

Super important topic but I wanted to come on and reply because I learned in my communicating science to the public class that pretty much is like a huge issue and threat in our world today is obviously the fact that a fairly large portion of society doesn't even believe climate change is real and that there's just like so much mistrust in the public largely due to a handful of pseudoscientists who have claimed for years and years and haven't backed down from their claims despite real evidence that climate change is real
