Would you make planet Kepler-452b your new home?

If given the chance to explore a new planet and search for something of interest and search search for something of a utopia. Isn't this the beginning to recreate our society? How will it flow? How will your civilization prosper? Like always. Take care

The next question to ask ourselves is will we make it a better place than Earth, or will we repeat history? Because humans are great at repeating the same mistakes. Which is why history always repeats itself, because humans aren't willing to do the right thing to prevent it. I predict no matter where we call home, be it Mars or some exoplanet, there will be land claims, fights over mineral rights, and land

It's a big enough house for me to have three dogs. Three big dogs. And we're very close to perhaps the best hospital in India. We're just across the road from the bank. We close to McDonald's of Burger King, pizza, Taco Bell. I'm fine. Man. I've been around the world. I literally traveled the world, and I just came back to what's familiar. That's what I'm saying

And so I'm essentially signing up for this for the rest of my life with my curiosity outweigh the needs of the soul. I don't know. I think if other people could find different ways of feeding their soul, then it probably would be different. But I'm also very skeptical because I don't have much hope that humans would change the way that we perceive, the way that we think, the things that we value, et cetera

@OmegaStrange: letā€™s speculate togetherā€¦

It was about one country versus another country, one faction versus another faction. Instead of it being sheerly about chand the exploration of human society into unknown territory or into space. It's probably one of the reasons why I'm huge Trekking fan, huge Star Wars fan. Somehow in the narrative of those two shows or movies rather, society, human society is sort of moved on past the politicizing of the space

So, yeah, when we get to that point where there's a guarantee that something is going to be different and the world is going to look different and be different and more equal to all races, I might consider it. Until then, I'm just going to stay in the trap e until I'm 104. Kwh

I think that'd be more interesting. It's interesting also the answers that you've got from this question. A lot of people are questioning the science and questioning the motives once we get there. And although I do understand it, I do think it's kind of the confliction of our modernity, the affliction of our circumstances that we only can see to what we know right now. But to look beyond and to imagine a new frontier, it can be frightening for some people

I feel that if we somehow sell on the new planet, we will just end up repeating a lot of the same ship over and over and yes, you are correct, we will. But we will also progress. We will also create our own distinct culture. So I'm 50 50 on it with how much we're not going to change and how much we will change

@avichand

Hey. I want to thank you for replying to this post. So since we will repeat the past, how would you change it? Say, if you were the leader of this mission to a new planet to build a new colony, how would you govern it? What would be your idea of society on a new planet? How would you set the future for your descendants, for 50,000 people? Descendants? Right

But if somehow I decided to, you know, I'm what, going to spend the rest of my life here on this planet? I want to make sure that we set the foundation for our descendants, right? So we got to come up with a constitution that doesn't repeat the bullshit that we deal with on Earth, right? So you have to make sure you have a constitution that we can all agree on. How can I say this that can stand the test of time, right?

I don't know, like you said, the visit to explore it, but I don't know man, to be honest with you, like to leave my family then to come back and they're going to be dead, right? If you're traveling, I'm sorry, 70% near the speedlight, it's going to take like over 2000 years just to get there and just to get back. Chand, you don't know what language they are speaking. You don't understand the technology

And education is available, chand accessible to everybody, and health care is available and accessible to everybody. Look, I'm not saying that we should be socialists or communists because those experiments have already miserably failed. The former Soviet Union was a huge failure. So socialism does not work. Communism does not work. I'm just saying we should completely move away from capitalism. But all I'm saying is that opportunities, resources and capital should be available to everybody

Hey, Her, I want to thank you for replying to this post. Going off to this new planet will be a struggle at first. You know, as far as dealing with police brutality and racial conflicts, I don't think that will be an issue. I think our main focus will be on how will we survive, how will we explore this planet?
