Continued from first post

If that's no longer an option women will be way more apt to opt out of unprotected sex. If you've watched this or listened to this in its entirety. Thank you. And like I said, I do welcome a very healthy discussion. If you are in opposition to what said or if you agree either way, let's talk about it. What's your take on it

Two separate issues. Thank you for highlighting both of them

We don't need Congress people and judges telling us to open up and talk about promiscuity, talk about Fidelity, talk about when to decide and who to decide to have boundaries with and no boundaries with. They're separate conversations, so I don't see them at all in the same world. It might have triggered your philosophy that you're sharing right now because we're talking about sex as an open conversation, and the result of sex is pregnancy. But that's where it stops

And secondly, thank you so much for giving me that very wide viewpoint because I will be honest, I did not necessarily connect it to that. And you're right, two separate issues. I think I took more of a personal stance on it because I know how it feels to be forced to have an abortion. And I think I just look at that and wish that it was not even an option for anybody

@Fifthchakrachic when does the personal become political?

I'm just wondering if you feel connected to that trajectory, if at all, and if you could even share when something that was personal for you became political and even your voice here you're taking a stance and you're engaging us to talk about difficult stuff. Was there ever a trigger in your life that said you looked in the mirror and said, wow, I can't knock, walk with my head high and speak my truth? When was that? When was that moment in your life

I have heard of kind of peers during high school getting abortions. And for me, I definitely just thought, wow, that could have been me. And I do attribute it to maybe like the lack of sex Ed that people aren't fully aware of the repercussions of their actions just because there hasn't been enough education. And unfortunately, sometimes it's still like a very taboo subject in schools where they tell you the best protection is no sex
