I've always been a champion of the truth, even if it makes people feel uncomfortable. I believe the truth should make you free. Now, I don't walk around with a cape and a cap saying, truth and freedom. But I do believe in being honest. I believe even when you lie, you take away somebody's choices. At least if you tell them the truth, they can't hide, they can't misinterpret. It because you told them. You gave them opportunity
And if you're the one who is leaving, you should tell them exactly why you're leaving. That look. I'm feeling suffocated. We are not compatible. This is what is wrong. It's very important to do that. So especially in the context of relationships, truth is extremely important. Even if it gets brutal, don't be mean, don't get personal. Don't make fun of the other person for trivial things like their weight or their looks
I'm scared of relationships to that extent because people get very ugly in relationships. So I'm glad there are people like you out there who say that be honest in relationships. You owe it to the other person to be fair, honest, decent, have integrity. Those are the foundations that a relationship should be built on and not the crap of love and romance and all that nonsense. So I'm glad that there are people like there out there who are bringing up their kids to be upright guys
