It was my first really serious relationship, my first time falling in love. And I learned a lot from it, kind of about myself and about what I expect from someone I'm dating. I learned the value of standing up for yourself, the value of being able to tell your partner when you have a problem or when you don't like something they do, even if it's going to cause a small argument or an issue

I would say my most important takeaway of things that I've learned would probably be to just in the end, make sure you're prioritizing yourself because at the end of the day anything can happen and you don't really know not to be pessimistic or anything like that, but you just really don't know somebody until you're going through a rough time with them kind of thing

I definitely agree with that, Isabella. You know, put yourself first. Always. The main thing I learned was definitely that expectations can ruin a good thing. You know, if you're not openly communicating what you would like out of a person and you're just kind of like expecting certain things to happen, that's an easy way to be disappointed. So I don't know. I think if you really want something to work, you really want you and that person to be close

I feel like what I've learned from a lot of relationships that I've been in in so far is that it is so important to have confidence in yourself and almost prioritize your own needs first when you're first getting into the relationship and placing your worth within yourself and not only receiving the work from other people. Like, you shouldn't only feel confident about yourself or worthy of things or good about yourself because of another person
