Because when I sense that that's where they are, I'm going to challenge them to be greater, to know them more, to learn more about Jesus, to invite them to the man that changed my life, to help them find that journey that got me back on course to let them know that they're not in this race alone, that I was once there too

It's definitely better to, I think in general, tell someone else, whether it's a friend, a family member, husband, wife or therapist or whatever it is, is. But if you can't just get it down on paper, get it out so you can free up that space and just let it be. So thank you for providing this inspiration and motivation for me on this Tuesday. But it's a little bit different for me, but I feel like same thing, but different. I grew up in Catholicism, Christianity, and some of it stuck and some of it felt true to me and some didn't. And I'm kind of a fan of just take the best and leave the rest. And for a long time, I was very anti the word God with a capital G. It was just too much for me. It was triggering, and I apologize

And that's, I think, what the danger of being a follower is and not knowing who you are is that you're led by influences around you. But it's also very refreshing and comforting to know that even if what someone believes in isn't the exact same as me, we can find that common ground of like, hey, maybe we are just using different perceptions or understandings of what is the same thing or doesn't matter if our perceptions are the same, if we're both able to show up as decent people in the world
