How to navigate parenting step children
Because my mind has been racking a lot because it's such an awkward position sometimes when you know that you should possibly be saying something or doing something to help better the situation. But you're almost walking on eggshells on every situation because you're fearful of what the response may be from your spouse or even from your step children. Barriers to that was that it was not reciprocated and it was a stark difference how my ex husband treated my son compared to his three sons. And so, of course, that impacted his three sons respect level for me and for my son. And it created a lot of barriers on top of the domestic violence that I was already experiencing. Thanks so much for your great suggestions. You really hit some great points. And like you said, you know, you personally can't give from the parenting side, but you really spoke volumes from on the stepchild side, and that's good to know. And I definitely believe that in the stage that we are, because let me give a little bit more background. She's a young mother. She has a five month old child now. Well, six month old child
This is why I said the communication has to be open, because if we don't keep our communication open, it's going to be chaos. Like I said, I'm just trying to find a happy medium in my life, and I'm just trying to find a way to really navigate through this. Like I said, navigate through it. And it's so rough, it's so tough. But before I'm done, I do totally agree with you about the children
