Rookie Runner Pod

Really looking forward to it. It's going to be one of those highlights of my running journey. I've been running for about six years, and this will be my fifth marathon. I also have eleven half marathons to my credit during that time frame, as well as a bunch of shorter races, five K, ten K, et cetera. And yes, lots and lots of training. I average about twelve to 1000 miles a year. Thank you for listening

This will be an abbreviated extension of The Rookie Runners Podcast where I will bring you soundbytes of running related info.

So yeah, how do you balance that? And lastly, something that's been on my mind, but it's pretty insignificant, I think. Do you like to listen to things when you're running or do you like kind of silence? There's miracomey, who wrote the book. What think about when I'm running or what I think about when I think about running? Something like that. And curious about also what goes through your mind when you run? Yeah. Thank you. Welcome back

And of course, when you're creating the plan, you'll have it balanced in a way where it doesn't interfere with your regular schedule. And that has worked for me. When I run, I always listen to music. And interestingly, the music that I listen to when I run is epic cinematic music. I don't know if I'm the only one that does that
