We At Least Used To Pretend…

article image placeholderUploaded by @AverageJoe
Because now we're selling p**** growth pills and Facebook again is being financially compensated. But in my video, I lamented the fact that we no longer pretend that we have any semblance of class, that there are no standards anymore. There's nothing that is too shameful to just go out and do now. And today, this is where we start coming back to my point, I wake up to see this story of Madison Callthorne's video

Oh how the times have changed?

Is there even a line in the sand anymore?

It's very thoughtprovoking, Joe. And, you know, I'm today wondering just how did we change this much, especially the GOP? How did the GOP change this much? You know, I guess, you know, you look at yourself every day in the mirror and you don't notice changes until you see a picture from from 2030 years ago. And that's exactly how I feel when I see this picture of Gary Hart. My goodness, it just invokes so much memories

@Phil

They will be spearheaded by a man who is caught on audio talking about how he grabs women in their genitals. He will have paid off a p*** star for silence after a sexual liaison with her while his wife was home pregnant. Third wife, by the way, other members of the party will rant publicly about Jewish space lasers. Another will have no shame in attending a white nationalist rally. Another will be caught on video naked in bed with another man engaging in a simulated homosexual act

But I do remember thinking like, wow, who put this up here just like, in the way that a lot of times they portray, let's say, sex or women and sending kind of these harmful messages out to very young kids, too, who are exposed to these things. But yeah, in terms of politics and the media and all of that, I think it really comes down to a place where we still don't have a system of accountability for people when it comes to these things

Hey, y'all. This is a super interesting discussion, and it's bringing up one one big question in my mind also, which is what do you what do you think are like the moral implications of watching a video of an intimate nature that has been leaked to the public? Because I think there's the difference between that and an Advertisement. And I think that's interesting. I don't know. I wonder what you all think about that

But like Average Joe mentioned, I haven't seen this Madison video, but I don't think it's going to have a huge impact on his political career because there is no system of accountability there. And Rogue Christensen, to your point around the moral implications of watching something like that, I definitely think there's a difference between an Advertisement and a video like that. But to my point around the standard slipping and more explicit content, I think we're being desensitized
