Woice with Warikoo Podcast - Dealing with Imposter Syndrome

article image placeholderUploaded by @Ramya
Rather than letting the feelings of Imposter Syndrome pull you back from taking on new challenges or holding you back from things that you would want to try out, he suggests using the same feeling, same negative feeling to propel you ahead and take you further in your growth trajectory. And his recommendation is this. He suggests that we kind of acknowledge the fact that whenever we start out doing something new or trying something for the very first time, we all tend to make mistakes

I think investor syndrome, we view it with the right lens is a great thing. It keeps us humble. It shows us that everything has the scope of becoming better and it allows us to acknowledge our feelings about what we have created. Right? Realistically. And also maybe a bit critically so that's my blood on this and. Yeah. Bye

And yeah, a lot of what you say makes sense, especially about us cringing over the pieces you've written a month ago. Yeah, that always happens to me. I go back and I chance upon my old writing and I'm like, oh my God, did I really write that? And then this needs to be buried away in some forsaken corner of my Google Drive and then I go hiding it away out of sight. So, yes, thank you for sharing your take on this

I used to think it's a bad thing, but then I did a little reframing of narrative there, and voila, it became a superhero. It's amazing. And there's a quote. I don't remember who said this, but this is somebody's quote. You are the Michelangelo of your own life, and the David that you're sculpting is you. And you do it with your positive thoughts, actions and words. So that is the quote that changed things for me as an adult
