The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller

And the story gosh the way Madline has written it. Like, this one line absolutely destroys me. When Achilles smiles and very casually says, what has Hector ever done to me? And, oh, my God, just as I speak this, I'm feeling, like, going to cry because what did Hector really do to him? Right. So the book is brilliant, and Madeline Miller's writing style is brilliant

And until reading this book, The Song of Hercules, I never really saw Kairon as this person, this ever supportive person that is always there in a love story. And on the back of an individual of this sort, you see love manifesting, whether it turns into a romance or charity. Time will tell. But then this person, this individual, is there. So I really like how Kyron does that here. And there is a transformation, right?
