This book builds upon the lives of the people residing in a blue zone in Japan. And by that what I mean is an area which is the home to the most number of people who live beyond the age of 100 or even 120. Among all the other things that keep these people happy and healthy even at such an age, the most important perhaps is their sense of having an ikigai or a purpose

Hey, Schwara, first of all, I think you beautifully summarized the entire book. Like you, you gave us a very interesting glimpse to the inner world of the book. And I myself haven't really read till now, but I have had a lot of people recommended to me, telling me that it's a must read and stuff like that

So it has been written in a very comprehensible, in a very understandable manner and there are a lot of things that will help us to move towards conscious living. Now, conscious living has been one of the topics which has interested me a lot of late and that is exactly what brought me to this book. I've also been through Victor Frankl's Man's Search for Meaning and I was thinking to sort of summarize it or give it review in my next cell cast
